HeForShe:Tackling Stereotypes

Description
Why is pink the colour for baby girls and blue the colour for baby boys? Why do we buy dolls for girls and action figures for boys? Gender stereotypes are cultivated at a young age and often persist until adulthood where they can seep into the home, the workplace and society.

The Singapore Committee for UN Women is hosting an independent workshop for boys aged 10-18 that is designed to question both male and female gender norms, through specially designed activities. The workshop aims to create a world where neither gender is faced with expectations or pressure due to their sex.
